Enrollment Action Items —

DUE MAY 1st, 2026

1. Complete your DC Residency Verification for SY2025/2026 online or in person at WLA. (Para completar sus formularios de inscripción en español, haga clic aquí.)

2. Email Proof of residency documents to enroll@wlapcs.org or bring proof of residency in person to WLA. For guidance on which documents may be used for residency verification, please see the support document provided by OSSE. You may altneratively prove residency using the OSSE Residency Validation Tool entirely online if you have acccess to your most recent tax documents.

3. (New Students Only) Please complete WLA PRE-REGISTRATION on PowerSchool. The WLA Enrollment Team will reach out to you with your PowerSchool login credentials once you have completed pre-registration in early May. Click HERE to complete pre-registration.

4. Complete all PowerSchool Enrollment Forms. The WLA Enrollment team will reach out with your login information via email after you complete Pre-Registration.

5. Email the following documents to enroll@wlapcs.org. Alternatively you may turn in these documents in person at WLA. See below for hours.

   • DC Health Immunization Requirements

   • Childhood Vaccination Records

   • DC Oral Health Form

   • DC Universal Health Certificate

   • Birth Certificate

   • (New Students Only) Last Year’s Academic Transcript from the Previous School

   • (New Students Only) 504 documentation if needed

   • (New Students Only) IEP documentation if needed

   • RESOURCE: Pediatric Immunization Locations

Any student who has not completed all of the enrollment items by May 1, 2026 will lose their seat at Washington Leadership Academy. That seat will be opened to another student on the waitlist. If you would like to appeal this decision, you must contact enroll@wlapcs.org prior to May 8th. After May 8th, you will need to reapply through MySchoolDC if you would like to rejoin WLA’s waitlist.

Enrollment Items are Due by May 1, 2026.

Students who have not completed all part 1 and 2 enrollment items by May 9th will lose their seat at Washington Leadership Academy, and that seat will be given to another student on our waitlist.
