WLA is operating the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP). Meals are being provided for free due to participation in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).

Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English.
To file a program discrimination complaint, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, AD-3027, found online at How to File a Program Discrimination Complaint and at any USDA office or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. Under the circumstances of a qualifying event resulting in unanticipated closure such as a natural disaster, WLA offers emergency meals in the form of home food delivery through Genuine Foods. Meals through this service are free to all students under 18 in Washington, DC. Each delivery will include three breakfasts and three lunches. Families will receive two deliveries per week. The form linked above must be completed by Wednesday at 5 PM to receive meals for the following week.
